The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA will be rendering expert services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it truly is alarmed with regard to the large number of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial number of sassa clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office dedicated to service the area on a daily basis. The assistance level established for intervention experiences a substantial inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it hard with the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional means to enable the servicing of all consumers and raise usage of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
